The new state assembly elections in Gujarat are to be held in two phases. Out of the 182 seats, 89 will hold the polls on December 1 and the rest of the constituencies will vote on December 5. The counting of votes will take place on 8th December.

In an exclusive statement with Aaj Tak/ India Today TV, JP Nadda, the president of the BJP was very sure of the party’s win. He dismissed AAP and the Congress saying that elections were “Ek Tarfa,” and the other two parties did not stand a chance.

He added that AAP would be a non-starter in Gujarat and they won in Delhi and Punjab because they were not fighting with the BJP. AAP had already lost in Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Uttarakhand. He accused AAP of writing on paper, only to cheat people.

He also said that the Congress had lost its direction and didn’t know how to fight the election. He verbally said that the Congress also had no idea as to what language to use as Mallikarjun Kharge had called PM Modi Ravana.

Whether it is MCD or GHMC polls, the BJP is leaving no stone unturned to win. So, JP Nadda is very confident of getting thumping majority in the coming elections and of BJP’s win.
