The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) appointed Sandeep Pathak as the National General Secretary who will also be a permanent invitee to the Political Affairs Committee of AAP.
Sandeep Path is a Rajya Sabha member and was also AAP’s in-charge of the elections in Punjab and Gujarat.
Though AAP was not able to win the election in Gujarat, the part was able to leave a mark and impression by winning 5 seats and 12.9% votes.
AAP has now cleared the election commission’s criteria to be a national party after winning elections in Punjab and Delhi by good margins.
