Bharat Jodo Yatra Resumes

On Thursday, the Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed in the Mandya district of Karnataka as Congress President Sonia Gandhi accompanied her son Rahul Gandhi (October 6). When she got to Jakannahalli, she joined the march on foot, which began at 6.30 am and ended at 7 pm at Nagamangala Taluk, starting from Pandavapura Taluk.

After the trek, there will be a gathering at the village of Brahmadevarahalli. The party officials would set up camp at the Government Ayurvedic Hospital’s opposite Madake Hosuru Gate in Nagamangala Taluk.

Beginning on September 7 in Kanyakumari, the Bharat Jodo Yatra entered the Karnataka leg last Friday when party head Rahul Gandhi crossed into the state through Gundlupet in the district of Chamarajanagar that borders Kerala.

Over the course of 21 days, the Yatra will travel 511 kilometres through Karnataka. The districts of Chamarajanagar, Mysuru, Mandya, Tumakuru, Chitradurga, Ballari, and Raichur will all be included in the yatra.

On Monday, October 3, at 6:30 am, the Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra continued in Mysuru after Rahul Gandhi gave one of the yatra’s most memorable speeches to yet. Rahul Gandhi spoke to party members during a downpour, and pictures of him soaking in rain while doing so quickly went viral.

In 150 days, the Bharat Jodo Yatra of the Congress will travel 3,570 kilometres. On September 7, it began in Tamil Nadu at Kanyakumari, and it will end in Jammu & Kashmir.
