PM Modi on a Tour to Maharashtra and Goa

On his Maharashtra and Goa visit, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stone for many development projects.

He will begin his visit in Nagpur and flag off the Vande Bharat Express between Nagpur and Bilaspur. He will also inaugurate AIIMS in Nagpur. AIIMS Nagpur will provide better health facilities to the tribal areas of Gadchiroli, Gondila, Melghat and also Vidarbha region.

He will inaugurate the first phase of Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway connecting Nagpur to Shirdi. The expressway is 701 km and is to be built at an estimated cost of 5500 crores and will pass through 10 districts of Maharashtra and also prominent regions of Amravati, Aurangabad and Nasik. It ill help improve the connectivity of 14 adjoining districts.

PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of Nagpur Metro Phase II. He would also lay the foundation stone for pollution abatement of river Nag in Nagpur, the project to be built and started at a cost of 1925 crore rupees.

The PMs visit will bestow upon the nation projects worth 75000 crore rupees.
