Indian Team Not Happy with the Food

Indian Cricket Team

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has the same rules for all the teams participating in the T20 World Cup. The host association is in-charge of the food as and such is arranging the food for all teams.

However, team India is not happy with the food they are getting. The Indian team had an optional training session on Tuesday. All the fast bowlers rested along with Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel and Suryakumar Yadav.

After a two-hour training session, the team was expecting a hot meal but they got a normal meal of sandwiches, fruit and falafel. This however was not sufficient for the players so that decided to have their lunch at the hotel. The players did pick some fruits and falafel but it was not adequate for the players.

Although most of the time, the hosts provide a hot Indian meal after a training session, the BCCI feels that after an intensive practice session, not even a grilled sandwich with avocado, tomato and cucumber is sufficient. Now, it is wondered if the BCCI will step in and arrange for hot Indian meals.
