India beat Pakistan in an amazing match on Sunday, August 28. The Indian team bowling first restricted Pakistan to 147 in 20 overs.
In response, India finished the match with contributions from Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya. All praises were of course for Hardik Pandya, the man of the moment, the player who has been in great form ever since his return.
Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan appreciated the way Hardik Pandya batted and bowled and showered praises on the player, saying that he as an all-rounder was very impressive. The Pakistani skipper also admitted to having scored fewer runs as expected and as opposed to the team strategy.
Pandya came into to bat after India lost Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Hardik showed great talent and in addition to scoring an unbeaten 17 also took three wickets.
Pakistan will next play Hong Kong on September 2.
