Google, the US-based internet search company, declared the winner of its Doodle for Google 2022 contest in India. This year’s competition was won by Shlok Mukherjee of Kolkata for his doodle titled “India on the centre stage.” On Google’s home page, you may view the doodle. The creation of Mukherjee emphasises sustainability and technological advancement.

Mukherjee views India as a leading country in science in the next 25 years with scientists from India being able to develop their own eco-friendly robots and have regular intergalactic travels. Mukherjee also added that he envisions India making more progress in the fields of Yoga and Ayurveda.

The Doodle for Google competition is aimed at encouraging creativity and imagination in young people.

The panel of judges for this year’s Doodle for Google contest consisted of actor, filmmaker, producer, and TV personality Neena Gupta, Tinkle Comics Editor-in-Chief Kuriakose Vaisian, YouTubers Slayypoint and artist and entrepreneur Alika Bhat in addition to the Google Doodle team. Four group winners were also announced and included:
1. Kanakal Shrinika (Joyful Learning)
2. Divyanshi Singhal (The Solution To Natural Disasters)
3. Pihu Kachhap (Green Energy is Clean Energy)
4. Puppala Indira Jahnavi (Soil- The Serum of Life).
