The 25th edition of Asia’s largest technology summit is being held in Bengaluru. This silver jubilee edition was inaugurated by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually. The event is scheduled to end on 18th November.

In a pre-recorded message, the PM called Bengaluru the home of technology in India. He said that India had jumped tanks in the global innovation index this year, coming at a place 41 from 81 in the year 2016.

India has become a red carpet for start-ups and as of now India is the third largest in the world in the number of start-ups as the country has a lot of talent, added the prime minister.

During the pandemic, many students who otherwise would have been unable to receive education were able to study online and the low data costs also helped the poor students.

The prime minister told the world that their investments and India’s innovation can do winders and has invited everyone to work with India. He further added that Indian talent could be used for global growth.
