Sonali Phogat: Post Mortem to be Videographed

The death of Sonali Phogat, actress and BJP leader, happened on August 23 in Goa.

Sonali Singh Phogat was a native of the Fatehabad district’s, Bhuthan village. In Harita, Hisar, she was married to the late Sanjay Phogat. At his farm, he had also passed away inexplicably in December 2016, when Sonali was in Mumbai. Sonali’s only heir is her 7-year-old daughter.

Sonali’s dream was to become an actor. Eight years ago, she began her television career by hosting Haryanvi programmes for Doordarshan. She received her big break when she was cast as Nawab Shah’s wife in the hit Zee TV series Amma. The partition of India and Pakistan served as the inspiration for the television series.

As the BJP’s Adampur nominee, Sonali was also well-liked on social media and acquired more Tik Tok followers.

She is said to have had a severe heart attack. On August 22, Sonali and a few of her team members left for Goa. That evening, she went out to a party, and the following day, she returned home.

Hours later, she was shifted to a hospital. Her post mortem will take place today, August 24, and will be recorded on camera under police directive.

There will be a two-doctor team working on the post motem. As instructed by the police, the procedure will be recorded on video. Sonali’s viscera will be transported to Goa for forensic examination. Along with the family members of the Bigg Boss 14 celebrity, police be at the Goa Medical College where the post mortem will take place.
