  • Kimchi Pancakes : Korean Kimchi Jeon Recipe

Ingredients: Fermented Kimchi, 2 Tbsp of brine, 3 Chopped Spring Onions, ½ Tbsp of sugar, ½ cup of
refined flour (maida), ½ cup water, 2 Tbsp of oil (refined/olive/vegetable/rice bran)

How to Make Kimchi Jeon

  1. In a bowl add kimchi, brine, spring onions, sugar, maida, and water, mix all the ingredients
    well.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan on the medium heat
  3. Add one tbsp. of olive oil or any oil that you use for cooking, spread it all over the pan
  4. Add little batter on the pan and spread it in circular shape
  5. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes, till the bottom turns golden and crisp
  6. Now flip the pancake and let the other side also get cooked, meanwhile add another tbsp. of
    oil
  7. Cook for3-4 minutes till other side also becomes crisp and golden
  8. Take it out in a plate and your yummy Kimchi Pancake is ready to eat
  • Korean Rice Cake : Tteokbokki Recipe

Ingredients : 1 Pkt Frozen Rice Cake, 3 Cups of Water, 2 Tbsp Gochujang (chilli paste), 2 tbsp Soya
Sauce, Pinch of Gochugaru ( red chilli flakes Korean), ½ tbsp. Sesame Oil, 2tpsp Sugar, 2 Boiled Eggs,
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese.

How to Make Korean Tteokbokki

  1. Keep the frozen rice cakes in hot water for about 10 mins
  2. Heat a large pot in medium heat and add water, chilli paste, soya sauce, sugar, sesame oil,
    gochugaru, the let it boil
  3. Once boiled, add the rice cakes and keep the gas on sim and let it cook for 5-6 mins. Keep
    stirring in between
  4. Close the heat and transfer to a bowl and add grated cheese and boiled eggs on the top and
    enjoy.
