On September 16, the movie’s second day in theatres, it made about 13.05 crore. On Friday, there was a total occupancy of 27.49% of Tamil audience.
Since there have been conflicting reviews for the movie, its box office success will gradually ramp up. How well it does over its first weekend is still up in the air.
Gautham Vasudev Menon is the director of the gangster movie Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. Ishari K Ganesh and B Jeyamohan collaborated on the story of the movie.
Silambarasan and Siddhi Idnani play the main characters in the gangster movie, and Radikaa Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, and Aangelia Abraham play supporting roles. Music for the movie was given by AR Rahman.

The story of the movie follows him into the seedy underbelly of Mumbai, where criminals like Muthu are paid to kill innocent people. The movie depicts Muthuveeran’s life, from his struggles as a young man to his rise to fame as a much-hated as well as a respected gangster.
