Manish Sisodia’s house was raided by CBI because of his said involvement in a corruption case. The case is related with Delhi Excise Policy.
Manish Sisodia claims that following the 15-hour raid on his home, the CBI confiscated his computer, phone, and a few documents.
Meanwhile, the Congress has demanded resignation of the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi.
Manish Sisodia is the subject of an investigation by the central agency that was started after Lieutenant Governor of Delhi VK Saxena requested an investigation into alleged anomalies in the Excise Policy 2021–22 implementation.
Sisodia was included as the case’s initial accused in the FIR.
Additionally, Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena ordered the transfer of 12 IAS officers as a result of the raid on Manish Sisodia’s home. Just hours after the CBI raid, the policemen were moved across departments.
