Directed by Rohit Shetty and set in 1960s, Cirkus is set to be released on 23rd December. The film has Ranveer Singh and Varun and Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja playing the lead. Besides them the star cast includes Johnny Lever, Ashwini Kalsekar, Murali Sharma and a few others.
This is Ranveer Singh’s third movie with Rohit Shetty. In Cirkus, it is said that Jacqueline slapped both Varun and Ranveer for real. While promoting the film, Jacqueline said that she was so nervous the first day that he forgot to enact and slapped them both for real. To this, Ranveer Singh quipped that Jacqueline broke his jawline for which he required ice.
Ranveer Singh is further to act with Rohit Shetty in sequel of Simmba and Deepika Padukone is also now a part of Rohit Shetty’s cop verse as she will be acting in Singham Again.
