Fashion designer, Manish Malhotra, celebrated the 10th edition of Mijwan Couture show in Mumbai at the Jio World Convention Centre. The Mijwan Welfare Society is an NGO that was founded by the Urdu poet, Kaifi Azmi. The NGO works for the upliftment of rural India with a focus on the education of the girl child.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were the showstoppers for the event. Both of them were dressed on royal attires from the special collection from Manish Malhotra.
Deepika Padukone wore a contemporary blouse with an intricate cape style dupatta over a chikankari lehenga. She completed the look with a striking choker and a pair of earrings which were just right for the outfit.
Ranveer Singh wore a black sherwani with floral motifs in white embroidery. He looked very dapper. The couple set major fashion goals and ended the show on a glamorous note.
The event was attended by many celebrities from the film industry, including Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Shabana Azmi, Shibani Dandekar, Ishan Khattar, Aditya Deal and Anushka Ranjan.
Sunidhi Chauhan, Sanjay Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Nora Fatehi, Vidya Balan, Rohit and Ronit Roy were also present at Manish Malhotra’s 10th Mijwan Couture Show.
