Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez has been called before the Delhi Police on 14th September around 11 am. The Economic Officers Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police had already sent her two notices previously.
Now, on her third summons by the Delhi Police EOW, the actress will appear before the police as she is one of the major accused persons in an extortion case.
The case is regarding Sukesh Chandrashekhar who apparently extorted 215 crore rupees from the wife of a Delhi businessman. He used voice modulation software and spoofing calls to threaten the lady. While in jail, Sukesh even pretended to be an officer from the Prime Minister’s Office, then the law ministry and also the home ministry.
He told the lady that he would get their pharmaceutical business running again and could even get bail for the lady’s husband.
Jacqueline Fernandez was caught in the web when a few pictures of her with Sukesh came into the open. Sukesh told the Enforcement Directorate that he and the actor were dating each other but the actor is denying this.
However, in a team of around 5-6 officers, including the Joint Commissioner of EOW, will question the actor. According to sources, the Delhi Police had already made up their mind to question the actor in detail. They will even ask her as to how many times she had met Sukesh.
The police will even make Jacqueline Fernandez and Pinky Irani sit together and grill them. Pinky Irani is said to be the person who introduced Jacqueline and Sukesh.
Jacqueline Fernandez will also be asked about the gifts she received from Sukesh, relationship she shares with him and how many times she had spoken to him over the telephone.
In this 200 crore rupees extortion case, actress Nora Fatehi has already been questioned for 6 hours.
