Written by Anubhuti Kashyap, Sumit Saxena, Saurabh Bharat and Visha Wagh, Doctir G is a campus comedy film. It is directed by Anubhuti Kashyap and is set up in a medical college. It stars RakulPreet Singh ad Shefali Shah in prominent roles.
Shefali Shah before the release of film on 14th October had said that the film was very funny and was based on a sweet and interesting subject and had a good script.
Ayushmann Khurana plays a gynaecologist in the movie. The movie clashed at the box office with Code Name Tiranga (Parineeti Chopra and Hardy Sandhu’s spy story) and Hindi-subbed Kantara by Rishab Shetty.
The opening of the film fetched around 3.25 crore rupees. The movie has opened to a mixed review where some people really liked it while others haven’t enjoyed it so much.
The fate of the movie will perhaps be decided by the Saturday collections. The actors have done a wonderful job and every effort has been made to keep the movie in clean humour.
