Brahmastra Success At Box Office
Brahmastra Success At Box Office

The resounding success of Brahmastra at the box office is like a breath of new life to Bollywood. Most of the films have not been doing well over the last year.

Backed by Karan Johar, directed by Ayan Mukherji, Brahmastra has Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles along with Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Mouni Roy. The film is the first in a series of adventure fantasy.

Brahmastra is the 4th film after Kashmir Files, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Bhool Bhulaiya to cross the 100 crore rupees mark.

The film sold nearly 1 lakh tickets in advance booking and pulled viewers over the weekend to cross 100 crore rupees mark. According to trade analyst, Taran Adarash, the film (Hindi version) collected 31.5 crore on first day, 37.5 crore on second day and 39.5 crore on the third day. And if the amount earned by Astaverse film in the southern languages is also added, then it takes the overall amount in India to nearly 120 crores.

The film was made with a very big budget and as such it needs to keep doing well. Now, all eyes are on the amount it earns during the week and especially the next weekend. And if it does continue to rock the box office, then there will be a big boost to the collections.
