Suman Anan, DSP of the newly inaugurated Deogarh has filed an FIR against the BJP MP, Nishikant Dubey. BJPs MP Nishikant Dubey, Kanish Kant Dubey, Mahikant Dubey, Manjo Tiwari, Mukesh Pathak, Devta Pandey and Pintu Tiwari barged into the Deogarh Airport and entered the high security Air Traffic Control. They did so without permission and using their influence got clearance to fly their chartered plane. They are accused of criminal trespass and also charged with endangering the life and safety of other people.
The Deogarh Airport because it is new is not cleared for night flights as these are allowed to fly till 30 minutes before sunset.
On August 31, although the time of sunset was 6:03 PM, the BJP leader forcefully made his chartered flight to take off at 6:17 PM.
In a tweet, the BJP leader was accused by the District Magistrate of breaching national security. In retaliation, Dubey said that the nation expects better of an IAS officer and has asked DM to read the airport and aviation rules carefully. The matter is under investigation.
