The show’s celebration of presenter Amitabh Bachchan’s 80th birthday made the October 11 episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 look like something of a festival.
The son and wife of the legendary actor in the film industry gave the legend a delightful surprise. The mother-son team showed up on the KBC 14 sets, shocking Big B. Aisharya Rai, Aaradhya Bachchan, Agastya Nanda, and other celebrities’ relatives sent him video messages in the meantime. The seasoned actor became emotional since he was unaware of it.
Abhishek Bachchan’s unexpected entrance on KBC 14 left his father Amitabh Bachchan speechless. He took Big B’s place and turned him into a contender. He claimed he was appearing on the programme to help him celebrate turning 80.
Big B appeared to be upset and struggled to contain his tears. Then, a film was screened in Big B’s ancestral house, reading Madhushala poetry by his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Similar to how Big B offers tissues to his contestants on the show, Abhishek handed his father tissues.
Later, Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan reminisced about the times they had as kids. He described how Big B attended his sporting event and treated him well when he became sick while also reprimanding him.
When his wife Jaya Bachchan later attended the KBC 14 sets, Big B was even more taken aback. She offered him some candy that was both sweet and sour, which they shared. She revealed that Abhishek and Big B are referred to as Amar Naati and Jamai Babu of Bengal, respectively. Meanwhile, Abhishek disclosed that it was difficult to keep the birthday surprise from Big B a secret because they had been working on it for a number of days.
Then, video messages from Aaradhya, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Agastya Nanda, Navya Naveli, and many more celebrities wishing the famous person a happy 80th birthday were aired. Along with feeding his wife Jaya and kid Abhishek, Big B also cut a milk cake.
