Bharat Biotech’s nasal vaccine has been approved by the Ministry of Science as the ministry recognises it as the world’s first intra-nasal vaccine for Covid developed by India.

The pricing of the nasal vaccine has still to be decided and will soon be made available in government and private facilities. The nasal vaccine will be a needless jab and first such booster dose.

The vaccines listed for use in the CoWin portal are now Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin, Serum Institute’s Covishield, Covax, Sputnik V and Corbevax. And now, INCOVACC has also been approved for emergency use.
